We mustn’t leave out the rural areas and this week we are hosting a visit from DCLG in London on our Big Society Vanguard Project which is focused on 3 rural villages. The aim is for them to progress their village plans with the Coalition Governments support- but no funding. We will be setting up a Community Fund to provide small grants to help but in the main it will be about self help.
